Why Lovelace Group?

Ada Lovelace is widely regarded by many historians as the first computer programmer. In 1843 she wrote a series of notes on Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine that included what is considered the first published computer program. In those notes she also suggested that computing machines could work with more than numbers and might one day create and analyse information in new ways.

We are named in her honour because, like Ada, we look beyond surface claims and focus on what technology can deliver for government. Our role is to provide clarity and help you find solutions that genuinely fit your needs.
